For me, yoga is coming into a practice space and tuning out all the noise and mindless chatter. 

Yoga is my time to breathe and to move my body in a way that feels good to me. 

I would like to help my students find their own practice to heal, strengthen and calm the body and mind. ​

I have completed my 200-hour teacher training with a focus on an alignment based, vinyasa flow. ​

I offer customized training for both private and corporate clients.

ABOUT ME

Yoga : Gratitude : Wellness

I grew up in Mumbai and a passion for sports and fitness, including tennis and swimming was instilled in me at an early age by my father. As a young adult living in New York City, I learned squash and turned to yoga as a way to slow things down. I worked in Education and Technology for well over a decade and became a busy mom of two along the way. Life was fulfilling but something was missing. 

In May 2019, my strong and sweet father unexpectedly passed away, and I decided to make some life changes. 

Life is about taking chances and new steps…but I know it’s also about helping others take new steps in better directions for their own lives.  

I took a leap of faith and resigned from my job and without hitting pause, I signed up for a 200-hour yoga teacher training intensive. 

I successfully completed my training, and now I am driven to share my learnings with others. But more importantly, I now have the time and vision to  give back to my community through various charitable initiatives. ​
