SUITCASES with LOVE
DONATE Used but Functional SUITCASES, DUFFLE BAGS or LARGE BACKPACKS to New Yorkers in need.
When foster children move between foster families, a large percentage of them must move quickly with short notice. Many foster children do not have bags of their own, and they have to put their belongings in garbage bags.
The same is true for victims of domestic abuse - often times, these victims have to flee with bare essentials in a plastic bag.
The homeless population also faces the same challenge - moving from shelter to shelter without a suitcase or bag to hold their personal effects.

What happens to My Donation:
Once our donation period ends, we partner with Volunteers of America or Greater New York to distribute the luggage to those fleeing domestic abusive situations, foster children, and the homeless community.
